CoolDroid for Mobile RFID

Cooldat

CoolDroid is our Android application that lets any Android phone or tablets work with Zebra RE40-based devices connected over Bluetooth or USB (such as RFD40). CoolDroid also runs natively on Zebra Android RFID Handhelds containing an RE40 module such as TC22R, EM45-RFID and the TC53e-RFID. Support for the ET401, TC501 and TC701 with the Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-6690 containing the integrated Qualcomm RFID engine is impending thanks to the Zebra SDK supporting both the RE40 and the Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-6690. CoolDroid enables commissioning, interaction, and the full Cooldat flow, from cold-chain assurance to predictive shelf life with back-end analytics over MQTT.

The free version is fully functional and works with any RAIN RFID tag, but is especially designed to work with our CoolTags Temperature Dataloggers. More advanced capabilities are available in paid tiers, including data export, MQTT streaming, MDM and MQTT fleet provisioning of CoolDroids as well as our unique edge-AI predictive shelf life (PULR® QDat).
